Legendary DJ and Grammy Award winning producer Frankie Knuckles was back in NYC, ready to drop a set on the world-renowned Club Cielo in the meatpacking district. If you've danced to anything with a four-to-the-floor beat anytime over the last 25 years or so, you've done so because DJ Frankie Knuckles made it possible. Yes, from his stints at Chicago's Warehouse (where the name of the music comes from, naturally), through his long residency at New York's Sound Factory, the legendary head-spinner has made house music his business. Lucky for me, on Thursday, May 21, I was in town and had an opportunity to join the Godfather of House in the DJ booth for a series of photos.
