On Saturday, April 1st, Skills DJ Workshop, a local record and DJ store, threw the 9th Annual Electro-Techno-Disco Popsicle. The ETD Popsicle is a massive DJ party held at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco.
A crowd well over 10,000 enjoyed three stages and 20 world-class DJs performing Trance, House and Drum & Bass. I spent some time on the house and trance stages to witness a dance music event unlike any I have ever seen. I kept getting visions of Sensation at Amsterdam Arena as I looked out upon 10,000 EDM fans bouncing to the rythmic soul of deep trance and house. The evening was capped-off when DJ Colette started singing lyrics as she blended beats. It was truly a dance music lovers dream!
