I don't typically get all stoked over celebrity appearances. I've been inside clubs and at events where the occasional celeb will be hanging out. Some will gawk, some will point, and I'll just enjoy my drink. They're just people ya know. But then a time will come when you get to really engage someone of celebrity status and I'll even admit, it's kinda cool. Like when Dan and myself rubbed elbows with Derek Jeter and Michael Jordan. Or when we went drinking with the guys from the VH1 band Flicker Stick. (okay, that one is a stretch)
But last Thursday evening I was able to meet and talk with Ted Allen of the Bravo hit Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. Ted appeared at the W San Francisco to discuss the popular TV series and his new cookbook The Food You Want To Eat. It was hip evening of cocktails and conversation inside one of San Francisco's most stylish hotels.
