Personal Photography - H&M Opening, San Francisco, CA
H&M is a pretty popular clothing store in cities all across the country. But that wasn't the case just a few years ago. When I moved to San Francisco, the closest H&M store was in downtown Chicago and the second closest was New York. So it was quite an experience to see the first H&M west of the Mississippi open in Union Square. After years of planning and renovation, the west coast flagship store was ready to open, complete with red carpet, DJs and local celebrities. And wouldn't you know it, I made sure myself and a coworker were there for the private pre-opening party Nov. 17th. The following is an account of the evening as we mingled among models, mavens and the Mayor.
