The Metronome Dance Studio held their annual holiday showcase on December 15th and 16th at the fabulous Theater Artaud in the Mission. The theme was “A Holiday Cabaret” and I had the pleasure of dancing in the Lindy Hop segment of the show. What makes the Met showcase so special is that it's the only dance showcase in San Francisco that blends instructors with students. While I had only danced for about four months, I had the honor of being front and center for the performances.
Both performances were quite a success, though the audience on opening night was far more animated. After our performances there was a special afternoon reception at the beautiful home of Scott Miller. I took a few shots of the home because it's one of the more famous (KGO House) houses in the Bay Area and is one of the finest examples of art deco design.
