ILHC 2009 (Sunday Evening Jam)

The second annual International Lindy Hop Championships brought together the largest collection of the finest dancers in the world. The level of competition, performances and workshops was far superior to anything I had seen at previous events. And the energy levels among the dancers never let up right until the end.
As the weekend came to a close on Sunday evening, a small jam formed in the corner of the dance floor. In this clip, you'll see myself and San Francisco dancer Yon Richner enter the jam right around the 1:10 mark. It was amazing to jam with Yon, who is an incredible dancer I recently met at Camp Hollywood. It was also a tremendous honor to share a jam circle with the likes of Dax Hock, Andy Reid, Ramona Staffeld, Jeremy Otth, and Laura Keat.
