ILHC 2008: Open Jack and Jill Finals

The first ever International Lindy Hop Championships were held in Washington, DC and you can bet I was there. I only entered the open jack and jill competition but was honored to make finals among so many great dancers from around the world.
I danced the finals with Krista Parrish of Raleigh, NC and took part in my first ever spotlight performance. Krista and I placed 4th overall and were very pleased with how we danced. It was honestly one of the greatest lindy hop weekends I've been a part of and I can't wait until ILHC 2009.
