What to wear: Pick your favorite fashion designer and go. It's not out of the ordinary to see the latest from Dolce & Gabbana, Armani or Prada.

Signature drink: The mango martini. Made of Absolut vodka, Citronge and Fruja Mango liqueurs with a splash of soda. The martini is served in a signature glass made special for Floyd's.

The scene: Floyd's is a scene unlike any other you'll find in Tampa. The lines to get in rival those in South Beach but the club design is pure Vegas. A well-dressed staff will greet you at the door and walk you into a pulsating atmosphere of sound and light. High fashion and glamour are on tap as well as popular regional DJs, such as Tony Faline, Sharaz, Jason Perez and Chris Craze.

The crowd: It's easy to see why the line to get in is so long. Once inside, the couture and energy of a high-dollar crowd surrounds you. Oh, and don't be surprised to be hanging with local celebrities.

The specials: Floyd's only special is Thursday night, when ladies drink free well drinks. However, if you know the local party scene … or it knows you … you'll find yourself pulled from the line and taken to a VIP table without question. Essentially special treatment for special guests.

The scoop: The essence of Vegas nightlife is in full effect when you gain entry to this hot spot. That can be a challenge in itself, so plan your night and get there early. Once inside, you'll be transported to a world of vibrant sounds and hypnotic visuals.

Nightclub manager Lee Pines sums it up best: ''Floyd's is truly a production beyond the boundaries of what most are used to here in Tampa.'' With 10,000 square feet of decadence - including three VIP rooms, two 12-by-25 feet video screens and Floyd's Dancers on stage - who could argue with that? Other attractions include a wall and bar that change color before your eyes and a marble entryway befitting Tampa's A-list. To put it in simple terms, Floyd's is Hollywood on a plate - even Paris Hilton would be impressed.
