To sum it up, I came across the story of the falling neighborhood in my local paper. Having an interest in urban decay, I had to go see it for myself. While photographing the three houses clinging to the edge of life, it dawned on me that these blighted buildings were once home. At some point in the distant past, people walked through those doors to their families and livelihood. And now the empty ruins await their ultimate demise.
